We have been so busy, you have no idea how much work a new home is… We got a real gerbilarium last week (mommy found a great deal for us)!
It has so many features that really improve the quality of life for a gerbil… Like we can be approached from the front and not from above, which is better for a gerbil, since it is less scary. It is also a lot bigger, so more room for play! and finally, just look how pretty it is, it is beautifull for us but also is a nice decoration in mommy’s house.

Today Pumbaa and I have the opportunity to show you all the kinds of material that goes in our tank. We have many kinds of ‘bedding materials’ in our cage.
For a gerbil it is important to be able to gnaw but also to be able to make a nest and to dig strong tunnels. So, in our cage we need a lot of material: some hay, soft wood shavings, cotton clean, supasoft bedding and some eco-nest. It is a personal mix of all these that our mommy developed over time, it offers everything and is relatively dust free (good for our longs and our mommies longs 😉 ) check us out, testing all the types here!

We have moved, well as you can see we are still in the same cage but our cat’s location changed. Since our owners moved, we got to goo with them. Check out our new set-up here! 😀
It is our own corner of the house, you can even see we got to put up our little portraits, now everyone knows whose cage this is. 🙂

You see it has multiple levels, also a basement and a a terrace. It is just great… Ofcourse you guys all know us by now. Every house needs some tweaking, so we redesign until it is just perfect (or destroyed)

You all know, Timon and I like to snack a lot…We also love to sleep but then sometimes we have to exercise of course. We have two wheels, one in our cage and one in our playpen.
The one in our cage is the smaller one, a big one really would’n fit. The big one stands in our playpen, so we can run when we are playing. It was hard to get on picture, but we do run really fast…

Here you see our newest chewable adventure. It is real corn, that can hang in our cage. Just look at it!
It is perfect for chewing on because we have to get them loose before we can eat it of course. So, it is a basically a toy and snack in one, that keeps us busy for a while. Wonderfull, right?
